I have tried that method and it breaks user's password ,not supervisor password.
And when I enter I can't change any settings,that's how I determined it's not supervisors one.

Hi there!
So at this point, you really cannot proceed without opening the lower cover door of the laptop. What you are looking for online is a 'Service Manual' of the laptop before proceeding to reset supervisor password.
Please proceed with EXTREME CAUTION as it is not advised for a user to attend to a service manual!!

I need help, I'm using an Acer Aspire E1-571 and I want to enter the boot BIOS menu to replace my previous Windows with a new one cause I don't remember my administrator password to log on. But as soon as I press the F2 key to go into the boot BIOS menu it asks for the current password which I don't know cause I never set it ever since I bought the laptop. Please help me!! BIOS can't change the windows password. you'll need edit the registry.

I too bought an Aspire E1-522 (new) September 2013. and I am NOT impressed with this useless device. VERY PISSED OFF!! as others have mentioned it hangs, freezes on some websites and takes ages to buffer even small videos. If I do not receive a personal apology from Acer’s CEO in New Zealand and a superior machine to replace this lemon within a month I shall be exposing this inferior device to Consumers Institute NZ and other such consumer media. I have lived too long to tolerate bad service and junk products.
I agree as I have the same issues and can’t even use it now as it has a blank screen when turning it on, now wtf do I do?
“Acer Aspire E E1-522” is one of the best Notebook among Acer products. It has got some of the best configuration and currently its among one of my collection product. Thanks for sharing this user manual.
The aspire says it has two ram slots. I’m trying to upgrade my ram, but can only fin one usable slot under back panel?
